I just shot my first bow killed buck yesterday morning. The previous night I had a awesome buck in front of me but couldn't get a shot. With a riffle he was a goner. We were hunting in Kansas and while this one isn't great for there I'm glad to just get one out of the way. Bow hunting is tough but very addictive and fulfilling.

ETA: I didn't shoot him in the nuts the coyotes got on him before we did

Yeah, I've pretty much don't gun hunt anymore, unless its a family hunt/buddy thing. On my own, I'd rather be bow hunting...just that much better of an experience/challenge. Congrats!

The hardest part is pulling the dam bow back without the deer seeing you. This buck is tiny compared to the buck I could have shot if I could have been a little more sneaky easy 160 class deer.

Stick with it man you will get busted that's just bowhunting. I find the best way to be stealthy is first set your feet because if your feet arent right your not getting your bow back with any ease sitting down or standing up doesn't matter. Then try to pull straight back kinda slow not moving side to side. This deer was 20 yards and didn't see me, I think I'm happier about that then shooting the deer.

Congrats on your icebreaker!

Welcome to the most addictive thing this side of crack.

Went strictly bow 19 years ago and absolutely wouldn't have it any other way.

Just get ready , because Mr. Murphy has some things headed your way. LOL
