We targeted reds today but couldn't buy a slot fish to tag.

went to Cross Lake on Saturday to chase some catfish. They were tough to find but the ones we caught were all nice.

Fished lower Lafourche Saturday and Sunday. The west side was much cleaner than the east side. Sunday we couldn't have asked for better water clarity, it was like fishing in an aquarium. However, I think the bow fishing armada put a beating on the fish Saturday night on the west side, I don't think I have ever seen the fish in that area so skittish. All and all it was pretty good. Landed 19 fish over the two days. Two big bulls which I thought was strange for the area we were fishing. The reds didn't want anything to do with any flies that weren't natural colored crab flies or small white gotchas.
Kept two fish for dinner, their stomachs were full of small shrimp and crabs about the size of a pennies.

Water got real muddy in hopedale yestefsay. Managed a decent number of fish, but the Reds were on the smaller side.

Wind was Turrible in Dularge Friday, ended up heading in with only 1 redfish.
Went back out Saturday slow start, didnt put a fish in the boat until after 9:00 but found a sick bite and caught our limit in an hour.
Funny how it works out sometimes!
