FFL Transfer Fee

Just letting everyone know that Advanced Weapon Systems in Baton Rouge has $15 FFL transfer fee. That's $10 cheaper than any other place I've heard of.

Yeah, something like that. I'm picking a gun up there next week, so I haven't been yet. I know it's inside another store for the moment, but there is a banner outside. It's gun show people who are putting up a brick and mortar place. I think they have plans to expand in the future.

I am having a lower shipped to Barking Irons. I think they just changed their hours cause I tried to call later in the day to inform them and they were closed. I think they now close at 5 or 6 on weekdays and 3 on Saturday. No Sunday hours.

What type of bad experience? Not much can go wrong with an FFL transfer.
I am a fan of the best price when it comes to those. They are literally making a couple quick calls or sending a couple emails.

I've done a few transfers at Advanced Weapon Systems, and while cheap he can be very difficult to get in touch with. My personal favorites in the BR area are Ferrara and Barking Irons.

Yeah, I'll gladly pay $25 to deal with chad at barking irons. He's a good fella.

Damn, that would give me the red arse. But I have received confirmation from the seller that he has received all the info, so I'm good to go. I got a Kimber model 82 .22lr, made in Clackamas. Can't wait to get it in.

Ferrara did this with my HK recently. I was perturbed but will give another chance since they are nice. If it happens again with a site that doesn't already have their license, I'm out. It took 3 days of constant calling for them to send an email that took 5 minutes.
