Lost a wood fence during Isaac, rebuilding will be no problem. What I need are ideas for keeping dirt from my yard in my yard. I'm 15-18 inches higher than the people in back of me.
Any ideas besides using cell cure boards horizontally? I'm thinking something corrugated but thick in plastic.
TIA

You need something to slow the water down and that will slow down the dirt loss...

make sure whatever you use is tough enough to withstand years of weedeater string hitting it, unless you Round Up...

Yeah, I plan on redoing the yard now than I have the incentive, just not sure what I want. For now I just need to close off my neighbors, we had issues during the weather.
Anyone know where I might get some of that bulk head sheeting?

24D, I think it's called mixed with high grade Round-up. It's a killer.

Hold off just a little longer with that privacy fence. Your neighbor might install a privacy fence on his side of the property line. That'll save you some $$$.

How many linear feet are we talking about? Last ones I used on a project were poly, I got them from Industrial Municipal in Geismar. If they don't have them, they could steer you in the right direction. Make sure you consider your drainage also.

Thanks for the input. I live in NOLA, most lots that aren't owned by OT Ballers are 30'-35' wide as is mine. No drainage issues as my lot drains to the street/front well.
As you can tell, I don't need much. Would get a sheet or two and cut to size or offer to buy cut-offs if they have them.
I'll touch base with them and see if they can steer me to someone closer to NOLA. Thanks again.

Those bricks they sell at wal mart. I've seen some used for that very purpose and they're very pretty.

I would weed eat instead of using roundup. Bare ground allows more erosion.
