Fence/gate installers in BR

I am looking to add an automatic gate opener to my existing gate. I'm no electrician so I'd rather pay someone.
Anyways, the last 2 days I've had 2 companies out to look. Each one was here no more than 5 minutes. Was not impressed with either guy.
Will not post the companies but would like to know who everyone recommends that I can contact.

To have someone do it for you, you're looking at about $2,000 or so.
I just swapped my motor out and had to rework the mount on the post and the gate. The kit cost me $675. It's low voltage so very simple to do if you have one swing gate. If you have two sides that swing, it may be harder.
Installation is pretty straight forward. Plug and play type stuff. YouTube videos from the manufacturer took all the guess work out of it.

I have dual swing
You'd need a different kit from what I had. You have to have the second control arm. Install is the same. You'd just need to get the cable across the driveway by either cutting groove in concrete or going under it. There are videos to show you.
I used GTO Pro brand. They make mighty mule line too, but I think the GTO line is a little more expensive and has some commercial applications. Checkout the GTO YouTube installation videos to see what's involved.

I have dual gates with GTO pro opener, I think it's the 2000 or 3000xl, it's been a good unit over the last 4 years. Don't use the guy I used, guardian gates, guy is mediocre at best. I think there is a guy gator gates I hear he is pretty good or a company in port Allen that's good

My neighbor/buddy was in the garage door business for a long time... Sold it and is out of it now, but has cotscts that work on our electric gate often (we have one for our shared property). I will ask him who you should call.
Nevermind. He said Southeast Gates... Not to recommend them but because thats all he knows

Have you tried Gonzales Automatic Gate? Rod Braud is the owner, and he's done good work for me in the past. (225) 571-2836

The automatic gates requires a license from Fire Marshall so your limited to people that can "officially do it" the vast majority of fence guys will not get the license and take the test.
It's a fairly straightforward process assuming your fence post is big enough to handle it all.
