That once little guy I used to tote on my shoulders through god awful stuff on woodcock and duck hunts as a tyke is already on his LAST day of HS...... with a somewhat important baseball game this afternoon to follow....

for those of you with younger sons...... it goes by way way faster than you think......

Don't Blink.
You are right. My son will turn 30 next year. It's his turn to carry his ol' man.

Have an 8 year old boy who I can't believe is almost 1/2 way grown already. My wife and I talk all the time about how we are going to miss the crazy days of ball parks, daughters dance, gymnastics, etc

I needed this reminder today. Stayed up with my youngest until 4:30 with teething because he wanted me and not his momma. Came into work and was loathing going to the ballpark later to coach my oldest's pitching machine team. Thanks choup, sometimes we need reminded how quickly time flies.

You young guys are not going to believe how fast time will go by. My kids are now 34,33,and 29, and it seems like just yesterday that we were going to ballgames and dance team competitions. I have walked every morning for 30 years with two good friends, and when we started our talks were mostly about women and kid sports, now they are about injuries, social security, and retirement. Have fun while your kids are young and enjoy the moment.

...at least we raised a good outdoorsman who when he gets interviewed after a game speaks in complete sentences... and takes no praise....

Just follow my lead. I have a 21 yr old son, 11 yr old daughter and 7 month old twin boys. I keep spacing them out every 10 years so I can have someone do the yard work.

So true. My two kids graduated HS 3 years ago and it seems like last week we were still going to all of their volleyball, soccer, baseball games and running in two different directions all the time.

Just got home Wednesday from Ring Night at Baylor...my baby girl is finishing her third year and has 14 hours left to get her biochemistry degree.........where did the time go.

Awesome, congratulations and prayers that everything goes well for your baby and wife, (and your sleep for the next 6 mths)

mine are 13 and 11. I love every minute of it, regardless of how mad they can make me.

My daughter (only child who I treat like a son and daughter combined) just turned 12. It really does fly by.

When she's in a good mood, watching my one year old play is one of the funniest things to do. Luckily she's in a good mood 100% of the time when she's not teething.

Even trying to enjoy carrying her around when she only wants to be held like another poster mentioned.

Feels like she was born a week ago.
