You're doing it wrong...

You're supposed to say "I'm thinking of selling my [year] Honda Rancher 4x4 with [modifications/hours] for [dollar amount]. Do you think that's a fair price."

Yes. The answer is yes.

It'll all depend on several factors.

Do you have a title?
Is it in good condition?
Do it run good?
Is your price fair?
Are you prepared to deal with clueless idiots, fielding questions like "will you trade your perfectly running ATV for my 1991 Bayou 220 that's been sitting since 1997?"

Honestly it can be hit/miss. Ive had dealings where things have gone flawlessly, then times where I lose all hope for humanity. Post it EVERYWHERE, theres a ton of free advertising so take advantage. Craigslist, LA Sportsman, and even those stupid Facebook swap shop pages generate some traffic, though thats where most of the idiots reside.

When I sold my Recon, I just put it on CL, and let the first guy with the money take it. Didn't do a lick of paperwork

You're gonna have to deal with a frick ton of people haggling with no intention of buying though. I have sold a few expensive things on CL, and you can always tell who is gonna buy and who is just fricking around

Price it fair and it will sell quick. Dont negotiate offers for less if they haven't even looked at it yet.

I used to do the same but have had better luck with Facebook groups lately. I don't even have/use Facebook outside of an account to buy and sell shite.

I may be willing to write you a check for 4 grand if it is a foot shift in good condition, and preferably not yellow or red...

About to be selling my camo, '09 Rubicon 500, with GPS, 120 hrs., 610 miles, and was wondering what to start my price point by looking at LaSportsman.
