Negative. This is my first year hunting with one and I shot and missed at 30 yards. It's difficult, but fun. I obviously need more practice

Nope. I've had a recurve since I was a young man, and only missed once On a real deer. I've worn out some targets and nailed a few garfish though.

Yes....and Caribou. I have an Acadian Woods hybrid longbow which has some reflex in the limbs. Have shoulder problems now and use EZ7.

I used to own a longbow, so much fun.

Only shot coon with it before.

Would need to practice a ton more to have ever felt comfortable shooting at a deer.

I'm currently building a few primitive bows. I plan on killing a deer with one of them this fall.

It's a huge challenge, but I am pumped for it.

I'll post pics once I have meaningful ones. Right now it's just trees getting cut and shaped.

Passed on a 23 yard shot this year with a 1969 kodiak hunter. Maybe next year.

When I was 14 a guy at hunting lease killed 10pt from ground blind with a long bow. I didn't appreciate that kill like I should have.

Injuns didn't use recurves back in the day.

ETA: Pow Pow Cove stacked deer up with his recurve. I would like to get better at shooting one.

They're what we grew up with. I've never shot a deer with one but know lots of folks who did.
