Have no idea. Story I got was him and a hunting buddy was sitting in the blind scouting. Deer walks out, buddy takes a shot and misses. He hands gun to guy in picture to take another shot beacause the deer was out of his line of sight from his end of blind once deer took off

I remember seeing this thread a couple of weeks ago and not thinking much of the photo other than the enormous 8 point until I was at our hunting camp this weekend and people were showing pictures of a large buck a guy from our hometown killed. I can't believe I didn't recognize the guy in the picture but it's a guy I grew up with that I hadn't seen in the last few years. Good guy but prone to embellish a story. I wonder if he really killed the deer the way it was described.
