Over the past couple of weeks I have noticed 3 or 4 Black Widows on my back porch. (For what it's worth my porch isn't that large; 10ft x 8ft)
While I realize a bite probably wouldn't kill me, I would still rather not deal with it.

So I humbly ask the OB:
1) Best way to get rid of them?
2) How to keep them away for good?

TIA

spiders have such a small and brief surface area contact that it's really hard to eradicate them. that said, i've had really good results on spiders (and palmetto bugs) with this...

actually, any termite/carpenter ant solution will work. and don't trench it...just mix it double-strength and spray it in corners, bases and frames like you would any other pesticide.

no spiders...guaranteed.

Start raising praying mantises. They eat black widows.

As much as I would love to take a flame thrower to it, I live in an apartment complex so i'd rather not get popped with an Arson charge
