Elite Series 2013 - Josh Bertrand

I can't tell you how excited and proud I am of a hometown kid from here in Gilbert, Arizona...Josh Bertrand.
I used to take him fishing as early as 12 years old - now is a recent 24 and Guiding! LINK I was learning from him way back then! He was fortunate to have so many guys take him fishing when he was too young to drive!
The kid has always been extremely impressive as an angler and as a person. He is also a gifted speaker at seminars and presentations.
He's made it to the upper crust of the angling world! Wow!
Anyway, keep your eye on the name. He's a class act. When I see the names he's competing against on page 2 of that article it blows me away.

A tread title with one one or two word titles get the anchor which means a new post doesn't move it to the top. He was just trying to help.
Don't know who he is but it's always good to hear about someone that does well and is just a good person to boot.

Interesting. That sounds like a well thought out decision. 
Josh is in 5th at a major FLW event right now at Roosevelt Lake in Arizona. Day 1 was brutal weather. Anglers from all over the West are at it.

Josh is in 2nd place at the FLW here in Central AZ right now. Tomorrow we'll see who wins it.
