Durable waders for hunting and maybe fishing?

Another waterfowl season has come and gone with me getting a leaky crotch and boot before the end of the season. Full disclosure I am very rough on equipment but one season is ridiculous.
I know MrCoachKlein has some Filson waders but it doesn't seem they sell them anymore. I find sites that sell them and when I go to checkout they say "item no longer available".
So my question to y'all is what works for y'all? I've had cabelas, game winner, drake, stearns, frogg toggs, and lacrosse. I can't get more than two years out of anything. Something has got to give.

Two years are the best I ever got out of waders.
Did you find a sawer? If not, let me know and I might be able to hook you up close by. That log you have weights in over 5,000 pounds. Would be best to have a mill come to you.

I gave up on big money waders
I get the game winners at academy and when they start leaking hit the seams with a can of flex seal
then pitch them and get another 80 dollar pair

I've gotten 3 years out of my GWers. Patched two small holes in the knees

Filson waders
eta: I know you're probably above wearing Game Winner, but I've got 2 season out of mine so far without a leak, and I paid $115 for them.

Why do you have to be such a fig?

I'm just saying there are tons of companies specializing in waterfowl waders and boots now, and Filson is just outrageously priced when there are so many other affordable options around the last several years. KR, I assume you're talking about breathables if you want them for "maybe fishing" as well. You're not going to have much luck finding good durable hunting waders that you can comfortably fish in down here. As for hunting, go with Filson if you want, but id check out Macks, Cabelas, Banded, and definitely Game Winner if you haven't worn them since they changed the design a couple of years ago. Simms for fishing.

Those banded redzone breathables are supposed to be the truth.

I've had 2 pairs of Lacrosse. The first lasted 7 years. The last pair is on its 3rd year. Before that I had some canvas waders and some old arse hand me downs.

What lacrosse? I haven't had lacrosse in probably 10 years but they didn't last either.

Got a pair of lacrosse swamp tuff last year and they lasted one year, 2nd hunt this year both boots started leaking.
When I bought them I noticed the boots had a crease where they were folded and the crease never worked itself out. It ended up cracking (both boots) and they leaked like a motherfricker.
Sent them back a few weeks ago and got a new pair sent to me, so kudos to their customer service.
In the meantime I bought a pair of gamewinners that have treated me well so far.

That's usually what happen to my boots, the crack after one year. The leak in the actual wader is normally in the crotch. I assume from bending and crawling over logs and shite.

King, have you tried gore tex instead of neoprene? I find it to be a good bit more durable...
also, I typically buy stockingfoot waders so I can switch between different boot soles when fishing vs duck hunting...

I've had goretex and neoprene. Neither seems to last longer than the last.
I think I'm going to go stocking foot next time to mix it up.

I'll look when I get back to the apt. I ordered both from Cabelas.

Just about all are made in China now and will not last. I have heard the Banded breathable waders are very good though.

my Lacrosse BrushTough lasted 8 years...got them on sale after the season under $200...
my Cabelas SuperMags have lasted 4 years so far...
also after season on sale under $200...
FWIW I went with the Cabela's because the Lacrosse did not seem to be the same quality as the original pair I had...
not sure why...

Pop,, I've seen those tellyfone pole climbin' feet and toes you got attached to ya!
Maybe if ya find a wader made out of Kevlar could last 3 years?
