Heading back down this weekend. Anything decent without running too far?

Hit Bayou Jones and Sister Lake. Water was dirty and didn't do any good on Sat.
Tried Decade yesterday, but it was pretty windy. Scratched out some reds off of Falgout canal on the way back.

Going to give it another shot later in the week. Still learning the area.

You're probably going to have to run. I hear the guides are fishing platforms out south and I can tell you firsthand the fish are out in the outer bays and islands further to the East.

I've heard the same, still not what I wanted to hear.

Thanks

we messed around in the canals yesterday for a few reds. Had a few people that never fished down here and just wanted to let them see some gators and catch some reds. This time of year you pretty much have to run to caillou bay for trout.

Looks like I'll have to just scratch out some reds then.
That's a long run in a 15' boat.
Again, that's what a few people I've talked to said as well.
Thanks

Racourcci isn't that far and holds lots of reds. Could even have some trout and bass.
