Reynolds reported his team's November flyovers provided an estimate of 3.06 million ducks, near 2 million more than the 1.21 million estimated here last November, and close to the 3.12 million from 2014's November count, when freezing conditions in the northern climes sent ducks into the state. "This estimate is 80 percent higher than the most recent five-year average of 1.73 million, and 50 percent higher than the long-term (November) average of 2.04 million," Reynolds noted.
