What the board should be saying this week: " pumped up for the start of season here in Coastal La! Perfectly timed cold front, should see lots of birds!"

instead: "started 3 weeks early and wasted 21 days of the precious season. Now we finally get some below 55 degree mornings. Thanks LADWF"

we shot a 14 man limit in our group opening morning and it was 70 degrees.

Yeah there still aren't enough birds on my lease south of Gibson to even be able to shoot a limit.

If you are going to lake bouef be ready for a clusterfrick to park. They are not finished working on the launch. If any of you OBer's need a place to park send me an email at cootdroppings @ yahoo with the title freebudlight and I may be able to accomodate you. You can probably launch thursday and leave your trailer in my yard and boat parked in the bayou.
