I have a 2009 Tacoma dbl cab 4x4 and I can say it is not the most comfortable truck being 6'4". But I do believe it will prove to be one of the most reliable trucks ever to support the cost. I think Toyota has this market wrapped up as the domestics were late to the game after all but abandoning to S10 and Rangers. Dont know enough about the Nissans to make a comment. The Tacoma is well worth the cost and easy to work on yourself.

I have a Frontier pro4xnight armor grey ride is not great but it's what is expected from a 4x4 mid size get about 16 to 18 mph love maneuverability and its can go over mud and sand better than full size trucks because of the light weight.. Didn't like the tacos at all they were a treriable ride looked like the interior hasn't changed since 1990 and over priced.. They hadn't came out with the new style Colorado when I got my frontier.. I have head good things

Owned a Frontier CC. I think my f250 has a better turning radius

They started shipping a week or two ago. They haven't made it to every state yet

I assume you meant mpg, if so, that is some shite mileage. My 4x4 full size f150 does better than that. What is the incentive to driving a midsize if that's the case?

Full size price, less than full size mileage, but hey, you can easily fit in a normal parking spot. Who cares about changing the spark plugs? That shite is done like every 100k miles.

The canyon was a fully loaded SLT 4x4 short bed. 41K Sticker.
Colorado was 36k 2WD with luxury package.

Yes its an easy truck to work on. Its a commuter and boat puller. Does both quite well.

I have a 2013 Tacoma and the ride is very uncomortable for me. The seats suck. I had a 2003 Tacoma and it was much more comfortable. They put the seats too low in the truck and they curve way in by the lower back area. I have some back issues so it really messes with me. I really don't need a truck so I'm looking at the 4Runner Trail models now. Hope to have a new vehicle soon.

I'm pretty sure mine hurt my back, too. But where I work in the pastures, fields and woods you can't beat it IMO, and even parking down town. Plus, I paid too damned much to get rid of it.

I hated the seats in my SR5. The seats in my TRD are great.

I have the TRD Offroad package and still find the seats uncomfortable. But, its such a solid truck. Fortunately I have a ten minute commute to work. I only notice it on long trips.

I wished Ford had updated the Ranger in response to the Tacoma. I loved my '94 Ranger but compared to the Tacoma it was like a youth model.

I bought a loaded out Z71 Colorado and really like it, I get 22.5 MPG driving around town. It's comfortable to drive and will hold 5 people. No, it is not a V8 so if that's what you are looking for, look elsewhere. I did pull my 21ft boat for 3hrs to Toledo Bend, it pulls ok but struggles a little to go 75 on the interstate.

I kept my 06 Duramax for any heavy towing and to use as a hunting truck.

Do you regret not getting the full size? I can't believe the Colorados are 40k. Good looking truck tho.

Not at all, this was what I wanted. Something easier to get around in and get good mileage. I will keep it 2 years and trade it in for the diesel model.

Go price a loaded full size. Mine is loaded with everything I could get for under 40k.

My thinking is I'd rather have a somewhat basic full size rather than a loaded mid size.
Maybe test driving and what not I would change.

I have a 2012 Frontier crew cab, not 4 wheel drive.

I used to be a big advocate for the mid size trucks, but I'm leaning towards a full size. The gas mileage is better in the full size and I would love that extra room.

Hardly ever tow anything, but car seats and kayaks in the mid size truck suck arse.

To top it off Ford is offering 0% APR on the 2015 F150's right now. How much off sticker are you guys getting the new F150's?
