I got a flier in the mail today for a Sig P238 for $449.99 and I really want to buy it from Bowie's.

That changes the scenario on a price match though. Price matching local competitors is one thing, price matching every shop in the nation that you can get a gun shipped in from is another.

Seriously? I don't understand your position. I just want to know if Bowie in Natchez will match the price of a store right down the street from them. Is that too much to ask? I honestly don't think so.

I just don't understand why an LA resident would care if two stores in MS will price match. Why go through the hassle if you have to transfer it in anyway? Order it from the cheap place. If you want a legitimate answer though just call, don't be scared.

We don't have a strict price matching policy, we kinda just do it based on feel. That's a good price for a standard P238. Our GM fricking hates Sportscenter (assuming that's where the ad is) so they may do it. Call our BR store and see if we have the same one, ask for Ruffin. Say you love Bowie and don't want to buy from Sportscenter. They'll probably come down. If BR doesn't have it and Natchez does, we'll have it brough down next week at no charge.
But Prop is right, you can't buy the gun in MS and you'd have to pay 15-25 bucks to get it sent to LA + wait. Just not worth it at that point.
