I get a check in the mailbox worth a couple handles of whiskey, monthly.

I get a check from both sides of my family one is around $130 a month the other I get roughly every 3 months when it totals over $100, have 50% of the mineral rights and 75% of the production rights to 100 acres right on the edge of a formation. It pays me around $10,000 every 3 and $15,000 after that for 2 more if they don't drill.

No I wouldn't, just hope that families are able to get royalties from oil and gas production

Been getting a gas royalty check since the early 80's for property in Pointe Coupee. Started about $40 a month. they quit coming a few years ago but just started coming again close to $80 a month.
