Does a CCL allow you to carry more than one gun?

We were discussing this in the office and even with googling couldn't find anything other than opinions. I'm guessing that it varies by state also.

I know Texas doesn't limit it to one. I saw a guy open carrying a pistol on each hip a few weeks ago.

Some states limit you to the type of gun (revolver vs. semi-auto) that you shot in your CCW class.
Louisiana has no such restriction, nor does La. limit the number of handguns you can carry. I know more than a few folks who carry a primary and a BUG.

My grandpa has his and carrys between 4-6 Derringers

You're going to need an additional permit for that.
