If they programmed or stuck the EGR valve closed, it essentially isn't doing anything and should never fail. I didn't think of that. That'll keep you from thermo-cycling the cooler.

absolutely and it's shift on the fly. As the tuner comes up with new tunes it automatically updates to load on your set up, no additional fee.

i like the real time feedback/guages and comes with the code scanner in case you pop codes.

Coy like PPEI, there's also Tyrant or GDP.

some others out there have burned down trucks for turning up the heat too much.

I was just wondering since you don't have the actual display on the dash like an Insight, etc. I assume you look at it on your phone

I'm ok to leave the EGR alone for now as it's basically been shut off with the tune?

you didnt use the blockoff plate?

brother you're missing out. it's like $90. and is easy to return to stock if you're gonna trade it in.

My plan always was to do away with the EGR, so I figured why waste the $90 on the plate when I can just spend the $200 on the full delete. I'll probably be ordering it next week though. I have no intentions of getting rid of this truck any time soon.

I'm typically a proponent of the full delete, but I would wait until after the warranty is up.

I was in this boat, the my DEF sending unit went out so I pulled the trigger.

Just a note, when you take off that throttle body and see what your intake looks like you'll wish you'd have done it sooner. Surely this can't be good for an engine.

Hold off on everything until something expensive breaks. Only then will it be worth the extra stress on your engine and drivetrain.

And Coy's is expensive as frick and tries to sell you shite you don't need. I would suggest looking elsewhere

I did my 2011 f250 myself! About 7-8 hrs of work with a $300 craftsman set. The kit cost me $1700 shipped to house. I'm no mechanic by no means but with a little common sense you can do this.

I have the HS mini max programmer. FYI once you install make sure to put programmer reading on pyro #2 or you will get a false high exhaust gas temp unless you buy the additional temp probe.

Hardest part is taking down that 900lb exhaust setup

I unbolted mine at the two flanges. The dpf is included in setup and it's nowhere near 900lbs. I drop it myself. The manifold and muffler stayed but other than that the rest came out. If I had to guess I would say 175-200lbs.

That was a joke man. I know the exhaust doesn't weigh 900lbs because I've done it before. It's just heavy as hell

For reference, that's heavier than a lot of automatic transmissions.

I had people telling me the same thing before I took mine down. I've heard from 400-900lbs. Just letting the ot know it's nowhere near that! Would you say 175/200?
