I'm looking for a reputable leave in meat thermometer that's bluetooth or RF capable to use in my pit barrel cooker. What are you guys currently using?

Maverick. Highly recommended by the F&D board. Bought mine on Amazon and use it often in my smoker. Has 2 probes for meat and smoke.

Thermoworks ( makers of the Thermapen) have just come out with the "smoke" , which is pretty much like the 2 channel maverick, made with Thermoworks quality parts, I got one in last week but have not used it, but looks legit

Tossed all my leave in thermometers when I got a Thermapen. Better accuracy and results.

I use both, they each have a place, but I agree my thermapen has made me a much better cook and if I could only have one thermometer it would be a therma pen

et-732 black with the bear paws is what I bought about a month ago after having already owned one. The 733 is the new model and I think is only $10 more.

You can usually get the maverick cheaper than amazon by trolling smokingmeatforums.com for coupon codes to www.amazenproducts.com

I have the 735 Bluetooth model so I don't have to leave my chair to check temps.

Bluetooth can be flaky sometimes, I don't use it as much anymore because I have a heatermeter for my smoker.

This isn't mine, but very similar. I can check temps from anything that has an internet connection and control the smoker temp. Runs off a raspberry pi.
