Can anyone suggest a good guy to lay down some wood laminate over CVT at a 1300 ft or so building for me?
I hate dealing with shady contractors, and would rather pay one qualified experienced guy a fair price the first time.
Thanks in advance my OB brothers.

They really are. I've recently had two clients watch YouTube videos and do it themselves to save money. They both turned out great.

Is there a reason you are going with laminate?
I hate that shite.
I put solid vinyl tile in my house and love it.
Downside of laminate, once it gets wet it starts buckling, even a little looks like shite.
I am a flooring contractor and had many offices that wanted it..they hate it.

You may want to subscribe to Angie's list. It's only 10 year and it has almost every trade/ craftsman imaginable. Very well worth it. The fact that the vendor knows you came to them through there and can and will leave visible feedback is very powerful and motivating for them to do a good job for you. You can tell very quickly who you want to deal with by the number of reviews, overall rating and how they respond when someone posts a less favorable review.

They also run some really good discounts in the slow season to keep busy. Painters in the winter/Christmas time must be sitting idle with the special offers that were listed a few months ago.
