Could any of you suggest a concealed carry handgun for my wife. She has Rheumatoid Arthritis and her hands are weak. She cannot pull back the slide of my Glock 17. Any help would be appreciated.

Revolver with a light trigger

Eta: Since her hands are weak, you're gonna have to shoot different calibers through different guns to see what works for her. Don't choose caliber based on what you want her to shoot.

Any suggestions for a revolver that has a light trigger? Everyone I seem to pick up needs a pretty good squeeze to get it to go bang

Get her one of these. Basically has the apex trigger installed from the factory. I have one and the trigger is night and day better than stock. Buds has them for $459.00

Teach her to push the lower part, not pull the slide

Shield..Apex trigger... Very light trigger pull Vs. most revolvers. You load. She has nine shots. No need to "rack" a slide...which is more technique than strength. Good luck.

My aunt has very bad RA. I can't imagine a trigger light enough that she could use and would still be remotely safe to carry, poor woman.

Walther CCP. By far the absolute easiest slide I've ever racked. Plus it's the most ergonomic CC pistol on the market. It's basically a scaled-down VP9.

I have a S&W Model 10 .38S that has an incredibly light and easy trigger if you pull the hammer first, and the hammer isn't very hard either.

It's incredibly accurate too. Of course, it does have a 6 inch barrel, so it should be. You can find model 10 with shorter barrels fairly easily though.

Walther PK380 or Walther CCP if she wants 9mm.
Most people can rack the PK380 slide with only the thumb and index finger. It's that easy.

CCP is easy, but has a slightly stronger spring.

My mom couldn't rack the slide on the pistol we got her. Bought her a Ruger LCR revolver. She loved it and feels much more comfortable with it.
