I have the boat shoe looking ones and the flip flops and they are both comfy.

I was always and still am interested in the running shoe looking one if that's what you are talking about.

I have a pair of the Drainmakers. Love them while on the boat, but they smell terrible after a couple wears. I just run them through the washing machine and they're as good as new. They've held up great for a couple years now.

Do wear your normal size or did you go down a size?

just purchsed my second pair of Columbia PFG Drainmakers. Love them. My first lasted almost 4 years of pretty hard fishing and other wear. Had trampled through some nasty marsh in them due to sticking the boat in the mud a few times, hosed them off, threw em in the washing machine, good as new... The fabric finally started to tear around the toe, so I orderd some new ones.

Been looking at these. Do they have good support in the heels? I have had foot problems and need something with some decent cushion. Do they run true to size?

Was just looking at the navy ones like that. I have the tan Bonehead Vent boat shoe. Same sole, comfy nonetheless.

They have a decent amount of cushion in the heel. I order a .5 down from my normal shoe size due to what I read in the reviews on amazon. They were pretty tight at first bit got worn in pretty quick

I wear them on wolf creek and big walker in SW Va almost daily, if you stream fish they are the ones for you.

I highly recommend water socks with them and know your shite about stream fishing before you break an ankle and get some ligament damage messing ariund...
