Southern Inland bays. Look for birds and oysters. Should be streaming in from the gulf right now.

They are starting their transition to inshore soon. I would think the marsh islands on the edge of the bays would be a good spot to look.

almost anywhere right now. Gotta find clean water though.

Let us know what you find with all this northerly wind.

This is my concern. But it's just a quiet weekend away with my wife, so all good whatever happens.

Well this morning sucked. Wind was killer. Made it out to WI pass and rode the south side of the island. No birds but nice water.
Anything on the inside was chocolate milk.
Couldn't catch a cold.

Any ideas? Trying to get my wife on some fish.

Go to points or bays in the marsh. Find birds or oyster reefs. Hard with no tide. Soak live bait in pass for some action...?

Wife actually got on one of the biggest reds I've ever seen in the pass. Popped braid at the boat.
We also got on a group of Spanish Mack which was fun.
But no trout.

Not much on islands right now. Fish the southern marshes where they meet the bays and have moving water..

It only took until 5:15, but we slammed them from 5:15-6:15 near trinity bayou.

Saw just about everyone running all day, tough fishing. We did well for that hour tho!
