Cocodrie fishing tips?

Going for the first time in 30 years this Thursday. Anyone have any general tips ?

I think you need to plan to fish north of Coco Marina.
And on that note, I'm not the one to give you much advice on that, but I'll try.
Winter fishing, we put in at Trade Winds or Sportsman Paradise.
Last time I was there, I saw some having success with live minnows on the bottom, with a weight about a foot above the minnow. You can get live bait at Lapyrouse store, about a 2 miles south of Sportsman Paradise.
I'm sure there better advice, but that's all I got.
Let me know when you see this, I might delete some of it.
