re: Cleaning fish at camp - legal question

Yep. Unless you have them legally tagged by another fisherman and all that good stuff.

Technically if your headin home by yourself in yo truck and have 51 filets of specs, you're illegal.

I mean unless you come out and say you have 51 spec fillets you're all good. I think I have about 30 spec a couple bass and some perch.

You're asking two different things here, really. ONE, is it legal to clean/fillet them at the camp- to which I'd say yes. TWO, is it legal to clean/fillet them on the boat- to which is obviously not legal.

I'm 99% sure that the camp he is speaking of is only accessable by boat. There are dozens of these camps off Lake DeCade.

That's the point of the question. He can't clean his fish at his camp and bring them home without putting them on his boat.

They need a warrant just like anyone else. They are not above the law.

I'm going to come in here and post a thread about the "secrets" of a LDWF agent and debunk all the nonsense that spreads around.

We had one pull that at our duck camp. One of the members is a lawyer and state senator in Mississippi. It didn't go well for the GW. Hate some of those a-holes. We're as legal as can be. There's no reason for them to be dicks but most are.

There are instances where they don't need one,(in LA at least) but people over exaggerate the power that agents have.
