The concrete in my driveway is a dark, mildewy looking,

What would be the best way to clean it? Pressure washing? Should I use something to loosen up the grime before pressure washing it?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Dilute some Muriatic acid and brush it on. That stuff'll smoke it's working so well.

I good pressure washer should take it off just fine. If it's mildew growth you can spray it down with a pump up sprayer full of bleach water mixed 1 cup bleach to 3gal water and let it sit overnight, then pressure wash.

I just pressure wash, but I don't let it get ultra nasty.

Pressure washing should do the job as long as it isn't oil.

Go to home depot and rent the baddest pressure washer they have (should be $30 or so for a day).

Buy a bottle of the Clorox Professional. I think it's a 2 or 3 gallon jug. Stuff is 3x better than regular clorox.

Apply clorox to driveway with pump sprayer. Dilute with water if you wish.

After application, rig up a beer-holder on the pressure washer, while drinking beer.

Spray off clorox with pressure washer. Keep ice-chest close, drinking often.

All the runoff will have all the night-crawlers on the edge of the driveway crawling out of the ground to escape the clorox. Pick them up and place in a bucket.

Go fishing at night after you return the pressure washer.

laying some galvanized metal will kill that mold also, if you have a drainage path for it across the concrete.

Y'all OBers are some uptight folks. Lead paint and dirty driveways all in one day.

Next thing you know y'all are going to want to hook up septic field lines to the pipes that run out your toilets.
