Clarks Creek help

No I'm's. I know I started a thread on it yesterday. But to go hiking next weekend do I need to worry about snakes. I'm extremly afraid of snakes.

Idk if I see a snake. It's dead. I'm very afraid of snakes.

Juat keep an eye out, it should be hard to spot one if it's on the trail. If you see one just go around it. NBD. They usually just sit there and don't do anything unless you step almost on them.

ETA but I don't think I've seen one while hiking there. Seen them in other areas nearby hunting though.

Yes, watch for snakes. If in the heat of the day look for them in edges of water, overhanging ledges under rocks, stuff like that. Never step where you can't see and never reach your hand where you can't see and you should be fine

I will never forget the first time I stepped over a log damn near right on a rattler and heard that fricking thing go crazy with it's rattle.

My dad taught me at a young age to never step over a log without looking first. I always step up on it and look first.

Last time i hiked Clark's Creek, saw a dead cottonmouth in a creek bed. 2 years ago. Apparently some other sissy had been by there before i got to it. Just try not kill anything harmless.

Definitely need to watch for snakes

(water snakes will act like moccasins)
