Nothing pisses me off more about hunting than a poacher taking advantage of my paid hunting rights. Well long story short, I've been getting poached on this teal season and tomorrow is a day of reckoning. I've got them figured out now and in the morning I'm gonna bust their arse. What would yall do outside of calling the green jeans? I'll update how it goes.....

If you know where they park, 4 flats sure does suck in the middle of nowhere, especially in an area you shouldn't really be.

Maybe so. I assumed the GW would handle that violation if hunting were involved.

Could always just go out there and call 911 saying a couple men with guns are chasing you through the woods trying to kill you.

This might be a little overkill though...ha ha

I like it. Lol. One way or another, they are gonna get served up some truth in the AM. Hope they don't have plans for church.

chain the hubs together so they cant drive off and call call both Sheriff and LDWF. then go get out of the way/out of range till LE shows up. no telling what a pos may pull. LE can handle a pos MUCH better than avg outdoorsman

Take pictures on their license plate, of them in action, and of them up close. All the proof you need. Wouldn't waste my breathe on their excuses.

This sums up the general concept:

I would have their truck towed first, obviously because of the flat tires (and water, bleach, and sugar in their tank). Wear gloves, btw! Then have sheriff and green jeans show up.
I would amazingly not know anything about the name of the tow company. Let them figure it out somehow.

Just say you lost the keys and have flats. The tow guy will tow it off of private property without police being there. Give the tow guy the farmers name (in place of yours)

Bait the hell out of where they are hunting with corn, call the hotline and report them

Yep, and put an electronic caller in the blind with a box of lead shot.

Have fun!

DONT DO THIS!!!

My buddy has a lease in Chauvin, the lease next to him was caught baiting. The pond they were baiting was close to his and green beans shut him down for the season because it was so close.

I've told the story on here before about how a state trooper and his son poached our camp and my our best friend's camp right beside ours for years before we caught them and caught them Rex handed with video evidence...

The best thing to do, get it on camera, catch them in the act, tell them it's on YouTube and ready to be released if there is any trouble and go your separate ways

there are no real winners in a situation like this
