Carry question from an out of stater

Coming to Nola a few weeks so was wondering what are the laws about carrying in your vehicle or rental property in La? I live in texas and we can carry concealed and loaded in our vehicles. is it the same there?
Obviously I dont plan on carrying while we are partying, just curious about traveling with a fire arm.

car is an extension of your home. do what you like.
yes you can carry in your home or auto, in plain view or concealed.

You will be fine in Louisiana.
