can you "beat the drop" of a coin with your draw?

openly wear your pistol(preferably airsoft so you can (safely) see if you can HIT anything, quietly, in your home). Put a coin on the back of your firing hand. Just reach for your gun, letting the coin fall. draw and fire before the coin hits the deck. That's .55 second and does not include your .20 second reaction time. If you buy one of the $150 electronic shooting timers, you have to react to the beep of the start signal, so your time will register as being being .20 second (or more) slower than the physical move takes. A truly fast man can get the gun to eye-level, 2 handed firing stance before the coin hits. A world class gun hand can beat the drop from a ccw'd belt rig, under a T shirt.
