Got him from the pound. They claim catahoula, but I disagree. I love the sucker, just curious what he is.

Besides the pics, distinguishing characteristics are he is 56 lbs at 3 years old, and he has a gigantic set of nuts.

People try to pass that coloring as a Black and Tan all the time. It might have some Black and Tan in it but he's not pure bread.

Still trying to locate the catahucci, possible case of mistaken identity. Ol' pound dogs are some of the best.

Are the toes slightly webbed like a lab?

Does he get a musky yeasty smell occassionally? Similar to the smell of Fritos?

Any spots on the tongue?

Russian Bear hound.

Rushes around the house and bears down on the biscuits.

ETA, judging from his condition, Id say he is Luckydog.

Lab crossed with some sort of cur type dog would be my first guess. Second guess is
Lab crossed with Rottweiler.

Based on markings and the girth of his tail, Rotty with some Lab or Pointer. I was going Doberman because of his feet. Tail is a tree stump at the base, therefore Rotty. Either way, he purrrrdy.
