Camping on Lake Ouachita - Arkansas

I'm doing my bachelor party in Lake Ouachita over memorial day. About 20 of us rented a house boat and a ski boat, and are looking to camp on an island or back in a cove.
This might be a pretty specific question, but I'm curious if anyone out there has experienced camping on any of these islands or coves. Our houseboat can'ts sleep everyone and many people are content camping.
My question is:
Does anyone know of any areas of the lake that are significantly cooler/more scenic/more fun/better fishing than others? Also, if anyone has camped out there, are there flat/soft areas that are comfortable for tent camping?
I've never been and am just trying to figure out what to expect.

Been 4 times...plenty of places to setup camp. Kinda depends on which marina you are coming from. Bring some smaller boats if possible, kinda a pain to move houseboat once you're set up. "Hotel Island" was a favorite of ours.....the "beaches" are mainly made of crushed shale type rock. Very campable ground. Email me if you want more specifics gironcd@gmail.com

Ya'll should jack each other's dicks off all weekend long.

We did it last summer
Just pull the houseboat onto any of the islands and tie it off. It's really easy

I'm sure your group had fun doing it but not everybody is a fig.

Typical Bossier idiocy coming from this guy.

The thought of being insulted by someone who both claims Bossier and LA Tech is laughable.
I can't believe i'm biting on this and turning into one of these posters - but I just can't take it.
