So, my Fall spot in the campground is the most unlevel spot in the entire place. I need door side raised big time. I can get a nice stack of the blocks(4 or 5 - can't remember) for the front tire, but there is not enough room between the front and back to build that type of stack. So, what happens is, the rear tire simply will not climb up a stack that doesn't have a good staircase to go up. I have thought about using a regular chock as a ramp up onto the blocks, but not sure if the whole mess will stay put. Thought about building one of these. Any idea would be welcome.

Maybe. The only jack I have is the one that comes with a chevy truck. I don't know if it would work, and I somewhat fear the possible bad unknown unknowns in that process. If I try it, do I need to put the 5r back on the hitch? I would think I would then have to redo the front feets.

i'd maybe see about jacking up the axle. Make sure you block up jack as much as possible under axle to give you as much height as possible. Slide your blocks needed under tire. Make sure other side's wheels chocked up real well.

Floor jack? Hi lift jack? Just get it a little higher than you need, stack the blocks, and drop it down onto them

You can also get a cheap bottle jack and put a block on top of it to lift it up

i used a bottle jack when i had a blowout a few weeks ago. worked fine. Just make sure its on a nice level block and i wouldn't worry about it, like i said, chock up wheels tight on other side.

All you need is a few 2x8s nailed together like your video showed. I use to have one like that for my camper. I ended up keeping it to help me change the oil in my truck. Use pressure treated wood if its going to stay outside.

You can get plastic ramps at auto zone for like $40. I have a set, and I guess they go up 8"

Most bottle jacks have a concave top that fits on an axle. Ive been using them for most of my life with zero issues.

You could just build one of those long enough for both tires. Come over to my house if you need me to cut the angles for you.

ETA: I also have a 1.5 ton floor jack you can borrow.

I may be able to do it with what I have. I'll let you know. I really need that grill insert cut though.

That is what I do with the one I made. To help carry it around, add some 1/2" rope, make a loop and nail it on the flat end.

I have these style blocks, but to build this, it looks like one needs a half block or the guy cut some of his in half.

I made a quick sketch of a method I saw the last time we were camping. I haven't tried it myself but thought it was an interesting concept and seemed to work well. He was using what appeared to be 2x8 boards.
