Has anyone hunted there? A friend of mine is joining and sent me an application because I currently drive 5 hours to deer camp.
I kill 3-5 deer a year in AR. What is St Tammany like; tempting because it's 20-30 minutes from my house.
What's the deer population like in the Slidell, Pearl River, Lacombe neck of the woods like?

Is that the one off hwy 36?
If so you won't see a thing and if you do it'll be a spike

I didn't think that area had tons of deer, or big ones. I should probably invite my buddy to AR, and get a guest hunt in Camp Villere just to compare places.
I already paid for AR, so I'm making that drive another year regardless.
