Camp broken into.

Parents just found out that our fishing camp on Lake Verret was recently robbed. Figured the OB would be the best place to put this. Stole tv, dvd player, portable heaters, guns and other small stuff. Just letting anyone who has a camp there know to watch out. Our camp is down Shell Beach Road BTW.

leaving guns at a vacant camp is foolish IMO. At least invest in a safe if you do that. Sorry for partying though bro.

It is extremely shitty that there have been two people on this board, which doesn't have that many people, started threads about shite being stole from them today.
People really need to start shooting these fricking thieves in the head. Only way they'll stop is if they think there is a good chance they'll get killed. It won't stop all of them, but they'll start weighing out the risk-reward factor a little more.

my buddy just had his rims/tires stole off his fairly new f150 4x4, we all know how expensive those rims and tires can be
gf's car has been broken into 3 times since living in houston
mine has been broken into once
it's gotten to the point to me putting locking lug nuts on my truck, buying decoy car alarm lights in the cab of my girlfriends car and my truck(til i purchase an actual alarm system)
i look at welfare recipients the same as thieves, they don't want to work for things, they just want to take them or be given them from other people

It's sad, but we've gotten to the point where we just don't keep anything valuable at ours. All our kitchenware is from garage sales. Same with our furniture. It makes it a pain in the arse hauling everything back and forth, but I'm not sure my heart can handle having anything else stolen from me.

Seriously though, gone are the days where you can leave your doors unlocked and not worry about people stealing your shite. Eventually, the meth-heads or democrats will find your shite and steal it. Its a shame, but everyone has to be more proactive these days. The best defense against this kind of shite is having a nosy neighbor. Some low life democrats tried to break in to my parents house on Goodwood Blvd at 12:00pm on a weekday and the thing that kept them from succeeding (other than a good deadbolt) was their neighbors who immediately got on the phone with my step-mother at work. Thankfully BRPD caught the son of a bitches doing the same thing to another home a few miles away. Know your neighbors.....

Had a member of a hunting club we were in steel a bunch of shite from other members camps. Air conditioners, feeders, shite like that. We painted thief in huge red letters across the back of his camper. He said something about it when he came to pick it up and he was told that he was lucky to be leaving with all his bones intact and he should stay shut the frick up. Was funny as he'll watching that fool leave with "THIEF" emblazoned across the back of his rig.

Need to set a trap on the inside of the camp with something electrical that a thief would take. Rig it run lots of electricity through their body, but make it look like an accident...

They stopped a cop passing by that was coming from another break in at a camp a little further down from the landing. So I think they may want to get someone to take a look. Cop asks my mom "do you know who they are?" Lord have mercy...

Two years ago at our hunting lease in MS, one of my cousin's was sleeping in the camp while others were on a morning hunt. Someone fricking broke into the camp stole his gun and TV. He was sleeping on the other side of the wall from where this shite was stolen. I would of hate to see if he was up. I fricking hate a thief.
