Just sold my mule that flooded in August. Now I'm gonna start looking for a used one. Probably not going back with the mule, just doesn't fit my hunting club. Where should I start?

Both actually. Guess I should have clarified.
I've always had a mule. It just doesn't do well at my hunting club.

Never thought id say this but a friend bought the Honda Pioneer......yea it's a true Honda and will probably last him forever. So well built, engineered so good. Everything is where it should be. Just a great bike. When I look at it next to my Ranger, I think I may sell and get one. Just a better bike

As far as brands go I think there is really only one option when it comes to a SXS to hunt off of and that's the Polaris Ranger XP 900.

I have a friend with a mint '13 Ranger 900. Has lights, winch, maybe 22-2300 miles. He is thinking of moving up to the 1000.
I think he wants a min of 9500.
Let me know if you want more info.

I'm not into side by sides, but I have a friend who has a Polaris and he hasn't broken it yet. That's enough to convince me that you can't get a better machine. He could frick up a ship anchor with a rubber hammer.

Why buy used?

This time of the year, any dealer will give you dead nuts cost.

What do you mean? Too wide?

If so, I have a Polaris 550 (mid-size) it will fit in most areas that a 4 wheeler will. Just a few inches wider.

For me the engine is plenty.

Yes the mule I had was just too big and heavy. Always had trouble getting around my place. And it would get stuck often.

I bought a Pioneer 700-4 last summer. I've been really impressed with it.

If you were old you would think it to be a Parker or Lefever thread
