This will be used for hunting (no mud) and the family to run around on. My initial thoughts are the Yamaha may be better but I have no experience with either. Thoughts?

I have a ez go with a 3 inch lift and big tires. I use it to hunt off of and have never had a problem.

Not familiar with Yamaha. Club Car better than EZ-GO.

FYI, the electric motors, voltage regulators, speed controls(rheostat) for EZGO, Yamaha, Club Car and all others are all produced by the same company (Johnson Controls) and branded and housed differently.

clubcar is what you want. Look for a used Carryall and put a lift on it. Year round carting.

functional dumping bed and enclosed cabin is awesome for the winter time. Has a windshield wiper as well.

Love this one

I believe all club cars have all aluminum chassis, so I would got with that. But they are all pretty much very similar.

I've got a club car precedent with a new set of batteries I'm parting with.

Which voltage motor/controller do you guys recommend? We have one at the camp....has hot batteries, but has never been able to deal with the hills too good....I've been told we need a different voltage motor/controller for more power to go up hills....what do u guys recommend? Any good sources for motors/controllers?

What kind of cart?

usually a new controller and some super thick cables is all that's needed to make a good hill climber

Wire guage is an important factor toward getting the amps there quick enough to maintain up a hill.

if all he's looking for is the torque to climb a hill, upgrading to a 400 amp controller along with 1-4 gauge wire is all that's needed. To up the speed a motor switch is also needed.
