Soooo how many "student licenses" can you get? I'm currently using/learning CAD/CAM using Fusion 360, but for the right price would love to add solidworks for 3D meshes. As someone who's learning wouldn't that qualify me as a student?

If you really must have a student ID, you could always sign up for a sort course of anything at BRCC. I think just being registered would cover you.

I remember reading that people would take community college photography courses, just to get access to 'real' darkrooms and the necessary chemicals.

Not sure what LSU would get you; I went back about a decade ago, and scooped up Windows 7 Enterprise and Office 2007 then. Windows won't activate anymore but Office still does
I put it on a laptop the other day. No cloud required.

Pending the student price that could be worth it because they want many thousands of dollars fot a regular license.

found a website that claims the MODs are "in stock." Going to call and verify tomorrow. May order two, sell one for triple what I paid, and keep the other

Question. Can the slide fire stocks cycle faster than the complete cycling of the gun? I know you can with the binary triggers, unless you’ve master the trigger pull cadence, you could pull the trigger faster than the bolt can cycle.

Probably won’t be overnight, one would hope they would give advanced notice to destroy or turn them in.

Destroy or turn them in? If they are going to ban what was a legal product they better be willing to pay for the buybacks at fair market value.
