here you go, its full of crap now but you get the idea.
this is before i closed the walls...just do 2x6 girts at 4' & 7' and screw the wall panels to them

you will want 240 run to the shop.
Air Compressor closet and dust collector and pipe run.
bigger/taller door than you think you will need

I know this is smaller than what the OP is wanting but they do make any size you want.


Eagle Building 20'x20'. Poured the concrete and had shop built for around $4k total.

Water and 240 ran to it. Of course I wish it was bigger but it will do till my next place when I will get a Muller building.

Also built a leanto off the backside

My shop is 40x50, 20x20 is my retail space the other 1,600 is workshop/warehouse. I wish I had another 1,600 sq ft of workshop. You will fill up / out grow 30x40 quick once you put all your stuff in there, start adding machines and portion off your man cave.

Yeah, my shop/laundry room is like 50x20. I thought it was awesome when I moved in here. Now, it's jam packed with shite nobody needs. It's about that time for a trip to the dump

That's well done man.


With all the advice about going bigger, it might be worth waiting a bit before building. So, I can go bigger of course.
