I use Rage Xtreme 2.3. I've never had penetration issues. I've had it go through the deer every time. I have lost 2 does but I relate that more to shot placement. Who knows...maybe another broadhead would have done more. Overall I'm very pleased with them. I shoot a Hoyt Carbon Defiant with a 70 lb draw and 28 inch.

I like the durability of a fixed blade. Most mechanicals don't hold up as well against bone. Since you like Slick Trick, I'd recommend going with Grizz Tricks. That's what I've been using the past several years (Z7, 70#, 27.5" draw), and they've been great with my setup. Slick trick durability with a wider cut.

Used Muzzys for years. Been with Slick Tricks for a while. Killed multiple mature bucks with both, a couple around 300 lbs. No problems.
