I knew I got some trash bream in my pond right before I stocked it but I finally caught one of the little boogers. All the fish I've caught, bass included, are really light colored so it hard to tell by looking at pics online. I'm going with green sunfish

You probably already know but the reason the fish are light colored is because the water is muddy or murky.

Definitely green sunfish
I know they say to get rid of them, but I have tried getting rid of them in my pond with rotenone and restocking. They always end up back in there. I gave up on getting rid of them

I'd say bluegill. Green sunfish have a large mouth like a goggle-eye.

I hope you are right about bluegill because I spent a few dollars stocking them. I know the muddy water made the fish lighter but that doesn't look like a coppernose bluegill to me at all.

It looks like a small pale bluegill to me. I'm not familiar with coppernose bluegills though.

We had a ton of those on my grandfathers ponds growing up. We called them green bream aka green sun peach. You get them in every pond in central south. Apparently they get in ponds though bird poop or something.

They will breed with bluegills and you what you have. They just don;t get as big as blue gill. What to get rid of them, put in some 2-3 pound bass.

OP is not greensunfish. Notice the entire length of the dorsal fin the spines are basically uniform length and the final ends in a fairly sharp angle. In green sunfish the front of the dorsal fin has spines that are uniformly short and the rear of the fin is longer and somewhat rounded.

General body shape is also different. More round oval for bluegill vs elongated oval for the green sunfish.

This is why I call them all bream.
