These next few days are gonna be long as hell. I'm itching to get up in a climber and sling an arrow. I just know there is a delta white tail munching on some persimmons and acorns right now waiting for me.

Just think guys - this time day after tomorrow I will be at camp making final preps - clothes, double checking gear, etc - will have a beer or two, and discuss hunting plan with others at the lease, then go to bed and wait for alarm! Can't wait to see IST !

Day after tomorrow and we are sitting in a tree about now and it is just getting light enough for that shot. Weather forecast is upper 50's for St Francisville - can't wait!

Focus gentlemen - its almost here! Plan for rest of day:
work until about 2:00
go home and load up gear and dogs
head north to St Francisville
unload and set up camp
grill some Brats and enjoy a cold beer
final inspection of gear
do some work reading and then hopefully fall asleep!

My plan for today/tomorrow
Leave work at 4:30, go to 7yo double header at Dixie Ball Field, crash out after getting home, Grab clothes at 4 in the morning and haul arse to my tree stand

I was in the shed lastnight til about 10pm making sure I had plenty of fuel and wafers for the thermacell. Just gonna wear some shorts and a t-shirt under my leafy suit. Im hunting only about 1 mile from the house. Good luck tomorrow fellas
