Boat trailer inspection

just read that you no longer need an inspection sticker for a boat trailer.... and i just paid $20 for a 2 year sticker

Doesn't go into effect until Aug 1. But yes, BOAT trailers will no longer require inspection stickers.

I don't think I've ever towed one with a plate on it. If the boat is big enough they don't bug you.

What if I throw my kayak on a"regular" trailer? Does it then become a boat trailer?

Last trailer inspection was in 2007, when I bought my boat. My luck will get a ticket between now and August...
