Boat owners: who do you recommend for service in BR or ascension

Have a merc 250 pro xs that needs a diagnostic and some work done and trying to decide who to bring it to. Cabelas told me not to call back for 10 days cause they are so backed up. Haven't talked to David Wade marine yet. I could bring it to simons outboards in Gonzales mid next week. Bass pro? Any opinions?

Simons has always treated me good. They all personally own Mercury's and from what I've seen know them inside out. Also he has the cheapest hourly rate in the area. That's always a plus!

lsu mike, if you choose to bring it to us, call and talk to our secretary, Kelly, after 9 on Monday. She will let you know when to bring it in. Let her know if it is warranty work. If you're unsure, give her your engine serial number. Thanks.
