Don't get a cooler seat like that. Leaning post with cooler underneath. I'm sure that's an option if you are buying new.

21+ foot seems like just the right length to span the typical bay chop. If you can get the 2200. Only benefit of flip flop seat if you take ladies out they have to sit right next to you.

Second ice chest in front of CC leaves no room to walk around and a tight squeeze to reach the lid. If possible to afford the 22'+ adds room to walk and will ride better.
*not sure if the has insulated boxes in the deck

ETA: ice chest seat doesn't have storage or rod holders like a leaning seat

They are annoying. We had one in one of our boats awhile back and my dad sold the whole rig because of it.
Constantly have to move the backrest to get in and out of the ice chest. Leaning post wins hand down if it's an option.

if you ever plan to fish in or cross any open water or bays, upgrade to a 21' or 22'.

blazer bay is a solid boat for the price.

I assumed the cc had the live well built in. I'm referring to a second ice chest in the boat. Your leaning seat holds drinks. Where are you putting fish if you don't have an insulated box in the deck? You will be putting a second ice chest in the space between the. CC and the front deck. This will block any walking. A 22' will give you enough space to walk around the second ice chest

Ahh I see what your saying now
My bad

certainly the 22' has its advantages but for the price you can get by pretty nicely with 19' imo

I've fished extensively out of all 3 lengths mentioned and a 24ft as well. My best friends dad has had all 3 lengths in a blazer bay. Fished them all mostly in big lake from turners, the marsh and down to the jetties. I've fished the 24 a couple times. the move from the 19 to the 21 was a good one, but the 22 is a much better riding boat in a "bay" situation. Its amazing how much a foot makes in a boats ride. Fished the 19 for several years, he kept the 21 for a bit and then rolled into the 22 and hasn't looked back. I have one of those seas on my aqua sport and i hate it. Matter of fact i took that bar off b/c its a pain in the arse flipping it back and forth to open the chest.

eventually i'll sale this one, but it won't be for a little while b/c i inherited it when the FIL passed away.... sum bitch would roll in his grave if he knew i traded in that boat was his baby. i'll either sale it and get a slightly used one or trade it for a brand new one. no smaller than 22ft though. i like the blazer and the frontier boats... but if i can get my hands on a used one.... i'd grab a black jack or one of the better boats in a heartbeat for the right price

this.
I kept walking between a 19 foot and a 21 foot skeeter this weekend... the extra 2 feet make a lot of difference

Fished out of the older 18'6" model of that boat many a times. Looks like the same interior layout. We had a 150 hp on the back and it hauled arse and did great on fuel. However if that's still a live well in front of the console it leaked all over the boat while running. Also as mentioned the ice chest seat was a pain and if there was any type of chop prepared to get wet when running.

We've got one that we fish out of in the marsh/bays around Hopedale. Fishes 3 easy, 4 gets tight. One complaint is that it doesn't handle rough waters well at all.
