I'm looking to purchase binoculars and maybe a range finder. What are some recommendations from the OB?
I was looking at the Leupold BX-2 Cascade 10x42s but just haven't pulled the trigger on it yet.

I have never met someone who says they spent too much on binoculars
I have Swarovski 10x32's , wish I would of gotten the 10x42 with range finder built in
Also check out the high end vortex

I bought the Leupold Cascades last year and I love them. I looked through several other pairs at Bass Pro but the Leupolds had the best glass for the money. Super clear compared to the other brands. Where I hunt I'm shooting 200-300 yards at the max so they work well for me.

Depends on how much you want to spend, but as with any glass you get what you pay for. I'm using my Zeiss Victory RF 10x45 right now. The built in range finder is sick. Kind of overkill for where I'm at now in the woods, but out in west TX they're worth their weight in gold.
