Hell in that case I bet the Thank You was meant for you. I bet they took a buck in addition to your pics.

ETA so you hadnt checked your cam since July? (before 8/8/2010)

For trepassing I would certainly draw on them and assuming they are poaching and carrying a firearm it would likely end only one way.

On my other property we have train tracks that run through and I have had several people walk up the tracks onto our property. I have fired warning shots but I don't know If I could shoot someone for it. If it was a life or death situation or a home invasion...no problem, there dead, but to pick someone off from a stand as they walk through...I just couldnt do that.

As if trespassing isn't bad enough, to have the nerve to tamper with my camera really pisses me off.

there was one more picture on there from the sept. 20th I think. I somehow deleted it from my card and didn't post it on here.

yea I thought the same thing about the "thank you" I tried to look around for blood or any sign of a shot but found nothing. The few pictures look like they had a trip or something and sent a thank you to whoever they stayed with along with a few photos of the trip. that's how i'm playing it out in my head anyway.

Anybody else think this guy looks like phillip vanderpool, the professional hunter? maybe this is how he kills his big deer.

I dug a 10ft. hole in front of the tree with the camera and covered the hole with leaves. I filled it with piss and chicken bones. Hopefully next time ill come back to a very sorry poacher trapped in a hole.

Im thinking about printing the pictures out and hanging them on the tree by the camera with a note that says "No, Thank you. The game wardens love catching poachers."

Wilkinson County? If so there has been lots of problems with trespassers, stealing, and burning of camps in the last few years, espically camps with Louisiana owners/leasees

I would deffinatly take the photos to the game wardens and let them handle up on them. I've had alot of stuff come up missing from my land over the years. It sucks that my land is surrounded by meth addicts and I live two hours away. You've got to put a stop to this shite before it gets worse.

not too far actually. If we had problems with burning camps it would push me to be more likely to shoot trespassers.

If that means Adams county you are in a little better luck, call the Sheriff, he is being much more proactive than his Wilkinson county counterpart

Bring the camera in and see if they can get finger prints on it?

I didn't think about that until after I headed home but that seems like a good idea too.
