Looking to send some 22LR to a friend in Missouri.
What's the best way to ship and about how much $$$$$ to ship 5000 rounds.

Legally, it can only be shipped ground.

You can't ship ammo through USPS. uPS ground is how I ship it. FYI the UPS stores won't take it because it's considered hazardous. If your in BR the rosenwald shipping center by the airport will ship it.

This has been my experience, as well. I was once unable to ship ammo via UPS in the UPS labelled box that had been used to originally ship the purchased ammo was originally shipped to me by UPS! Ammo requires special handling by UPS. Not all UPS shippers are aware of this so they just say they can't ship the ammo.

I had to ship ammo once...it was a huge pain in the arse and I will never do it again. Ended up going to the UPS distro center in Port Allen.
